Fleet branding
Fleet Branding for UK Businesses, A Practical Guide
One look across every vehicle you run, rolled out without taking the fleet off the road and easy to change when vehicles do.
The idea
Consistent branding across your whole fleet
A fleet only works as marketing when it looks like one brand, not a collection of vehicles that happen to share a logo.
When your vans, cars and trucks all carry the same colours, the same logo placement and the same message, people start to recognise you on the road before they ever pick up the phone. That recognition is worth real money, and it only comes from consistency. The trouble is that a real fleet is rarely one model in one size. You have short wheelbase vans next to long ones, the odd car, maybe a Luton or a tipper. Branding each of those as a separate job is how fleets end up looking slightly off, with logos at different heights and messages that do not line up.
We solve that by treating the fleet as one design problem and the vehicles as variations on it. Start from our vehicle wraps and the branding scales cleanly from a single van up to a full fleet.
The method
Why fleets run on modular panels
- One design, many shapes: the livery is built as panels that map onto every vehicle in the fleet so the brand reads the same on a small car and a long van.
- Faster rollout: panels are produced ahead of time, so each vehicle is in and out quickly instead of tied up for days.
- Cheaper changes: when a phone number, a service or a strapline changes, we swap the affected panel rather than rewrapping the vehicle.
- Predictable budgeting: a panel system gives you a per vehicle price you can repeat as the fleet grows.
- Cleaner removal: panels are made to come away neatly, which matters for leased vehicles and for selling vans on.
Rollout
Rebrand without taking vans off the road
A rebrand should not cost you a week of trading.
The reason most owners put off a fleet rebrand is the fear of downtime. If every vehicle has to come off the road at once, the rebrand stops being marketing and starts being a hole in the diary. We plan it the other way around. Vehicles come in a few at a time, get their new panels and go back out the same day or the next, so the rest of the fleet keeps earning while the work happens. We book the rollout around your quiet windows, not ours, and we keep the old branding tidy on the vehicles still waiting so nothing looks half finished.
Because the design is already settled as a panel system, there is no fresh artwork battle for each vehicle. We know exactly what goes where, which is what makes a staged rebrand quick and consistent rather than a slow drift across the fleet.
End of life
Lease fleets, easy removal and panel swaps
Branding that comes off as cleanly as it went on.
A lot of fleets run on leases, and a lease has a return date. The last thing you want at that point is a removal bill or a damage charge because the branding fought back. Our panels are made to lift away cleanly at end of lease, so the vehicle goes back in the state the leasing company expects. If a van is staying but its job has changed, or a depot has moved, we swap just the panels that carry that information and leave the rest alone.
That same thinking helps when you sell vehicles on or move a van between roles. You are never locked into a full rewrap to make a small change. If you want to handle minor tweaks in house, our DIY van wraps and van signage options sit alongside the full fleet programme.
Cost
Fleet wrap cost per vehicle
What actually moves the per vehicle price, and why we quote rather than guess.
There is no honest flat figure for a fleet, because no two fleets are the same. What we can do is be clear about what pushes the price up or down per vehicle, so you can see where your budget goes before you commit.
| Cost driver | Lower cost | Higher cost |
|---|---|---|
| Coverage | Partial branding on key panels | Full vehicle coverage end to end |
| Quantity | Larger fleet, repeated layout | Small batch or one off vehicle |
| Finish | Standard gloss colours | Specialist or textured finishes |
The cleanest way to get a firm number is to brief your fleet and let us price it against the real vehicles. You get a per vehicle figure you can budget against and repeat as you add vehicles later.
Coverage
Fleet branding near you
We run fleet branding from Manchester and cover the North West as our home patch, from Cheshire and Greater Manchester out across Lancashire and Merseyside. For larger programmes we work nationally, because a fleet rarely sits in one postcode and the brief is the same wherever the vehicles are based.
Whether you keep the whole fleet local or run vehicles across the country, the panel system keeps every one of them on brand. Tell us where the vehicles live and we plan the rollout around it.
Questions
Fleet branding questions, answered
What is fleet branding?
Fleet branding is the work of putting one consistent look across every vehicle a business runs, from a pair of vans to a mixed fleet of cars, vans and trucks. Done well it turns your vehicles into a moving advert that people recognise wherever they see them. We build the branding as modular panels so the same design drops cleanly onto different shapes and sizes.
How do you keep a mixed fleet consistent?
We design the livery once as a panel system, then map those panels onto each vehicle in the fleet. The logo placement, colours, key messages and contact details stay in the same visual rhythm whether the vehicle is a small car or a long wheelbase van. That is what makes a fleet read as one brand rather than a set of one off jobs.
Can you rebrand without downtime?
Yes. We stage a rebrand so vehicles come in a few at a time and go back out the same day or next day, which keeps the rest of the fleet earning. You never have to take the whole fleet off the road at once, and we plan the rollout around your busy periods rather than ours.
What happens when a leased van goes back?
Our panels are made to come off cleanly at end of lease, so you hand the vehicle back without damage and without a surprise removal bill. If the van is staying but the role has changed, we swap the affected panels rather than redoing the whole wrap.
Do you quote per vehicle for a fleet?
Yes. We give you a clear per vehicle price so you can budget the fleet properly and add vehicles later at a known rate. Coverage, quantity and finish all move the number, so the fastest way to a firm figure is to brief your fleet and let us price it.
Brief your fleet and get a per vehicle price
Tell us what you run and where it is based. We will plan a staged rollout with no downtime and give you a clear per vehicle figure to budget against.
